Nike Mayfly Spring '16

Feb 29th 2016

Originally designed as a concept runner that should be disposed of after 100km, the Mayfly is based on the temporary lifespan of it's insect namesake. Whilst the sneaker was intended to as a race day option to a maximum distance of 100km, the insects are born and die within only 24 hours. An intriguing concept shoe, the Mayfly has been optimized for longevity here as Nike employ a rip-stop upper and a rubber sole unit.

Available in limited numbers, three colourways can now be found both online and in-store.
