Maison Kitsune Spring-Summer 12 Collection

Feb 15th 2012

Encompassing both music and fashion, Kitsune was founded in 2002 in Paris by Gildas Loaec and Masaya Kuroki. They have since gained considerable recognition over the years with their "Super collaborations" with the likes of APC, Colette and Pierre Hardy.

The name Kitsune comes from the Japanese language, the meaning of which is Fox. The Kitsune is said to have the power to change its appearance and its face. The many faces and appearances of the Kitsune represent the different parts and directions of the Kitsune brand.

The Spring-Summer 2012 collection is inspired by the classic movie, "The Great Gatsby", with some beautifully fresh colours showcased wonderfully through premium quality fabrics. Things are topped off nicely with their super-slick Moccasin shoe, hand-made in Maine, USA by Quoddy.
