Trickers Spring-Summer 11

Mar 30th 2011

The fantastic footwear collection from Tricker`s returns for Spring-Summer 11 in the shape of some old favourites.

The Bourton style is a familiar Tricker`s silhouette, and lets be honest, we couldnt buy into this shoe without taking the classic Acorn colourway. The Marrca Antique colourway is a new one for us, and is already proving popular instore which is of no surprise to us as it is a truly beautiful colour and fits perfectly with the classic Bourton Brogue styling.

To top the collection off, the Stow Brogue Boot is great for those who want just that little be more to their footwear, very similar to the Bourton in style and again coming in the classic Acorn shade.

As usual, all is limited in offer, and with each pair handmade in Northampton, footwear doesnt get much more luxurious than this.

You can view and purchase the Tricker`s collection here.

Tuesday Night Band Practice SS11 Collection

Mar 15th 2011

A new brand which has just arrived at Triads is one that has already gained what some would term "cult status".

Tuesday Night Band Practice was born as a creative collaboration between musicians and fashion designers. The clothing line was born when four designers from the UK and Australia met and bonded over their love of fashion and music. They started their own clothing collection which was immediately picked up in many stores around the world.

Created from the London and Sydney music scene, Tuesday Night Band Practice originated from, well, Tuesday night’s band practice. The Australian and British group’s actual band name is Tuesday Nights, and their clothing line was born out of many band practices spent practicing and chatting about clothes. The line is an almost identical reflection to the band members’ personal wardrobe- old school rock: leather, acid wash, tees, tanks, leather and plenty of skulls. This collection’s theme takes inspiration from, “glory will only last one day, but obscurity will last forever.”

Musically and sartorially, Tuesday Night Band Practice are inspired by ‘bone crunching guitars and soul searching screaming vocals’, citing Guns n Roses, The Stones, Hendrix Led Zepplin and The Sex Pistols as their main influences, with goth printed t-shirts and vests, ripped denim and leather and a colour palette of black, white and grey the Tuesday Night Band Practice uniform of choice. Their latest collection is a exciting mix of fire tailoring and suiting, denim, graphics tees and knits. The collection is very focused to these who share their love of fine clothes and hard music.

The current collection which consists of graphic tees and leather can be viewed and purchased here.
